Shards of Helios was a three weeks crowdfunding campaign for which I paired with London-based online pre-sale platform Print Social.
In the ancient Greek thinking Helios was the all-seeing god of sun and was often called to witness oaths and dispense justice.
In the illustration, I wanted to display in a playful way the idea of sharing. Sun represents so many things to all of us: life, warmth, energy, sustainability, but also danger. But by striving forwards and sharing shards from our own internal sun of kindness and justice, we can try to make a small difference.
Shards of Helios campaign donated 10% of its profits to Refugee Action, a charity that supports refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK.
