Artwork for Secret 7’’ 2024. Secret 7’’ is an initiative that started in 2012 and brings together the worlds of music and art.
Through Secret 7’’, 7 music tracks are chosen to be pressed onto vynil and creatives from around the world respond to one or more of the songs with visuals. Artworks are afterwards chosen to be a part of an exhibtion where the works will be available for bidding. The identities of the visual artists remain a secret until the new found owners will be holding their own vynyl sleeve.
The artworks I created responded to The Specials - We Sell Hope and Aurora - A Different Kind of Human.
